Mastered tracks are here!

Good morning friends.

Monday was a big day! I was able to listen to the mastered recordings of the project. For those of you who don't know what that means, It's the final version of the recordings. They've been shined up, polished to a pretty sheen, and they're pretty much ready to go. As the artist and songwriter of these recordings, it's also an emotional moment. I like to walk and listen to my music when I first get to hear it back. And when I do this, I reflect on the whole journey so far of creating this record. I think of all the writing, and co writing, and where I was when I was doing this, both mentally and physically. I think of the ups and downs, the moments of joy, and the moments when I thought about giving up. I think about friends and family who instinctively called or messaged me when they were picking up on my need for encouragement. Then I think about how grateful I am to all of them and you who have been here along the way. All I can say is I'm glad I had sunglasses on while I was walking.

We're at 71% of the goal right now, and the album design is happening as I write. I want this pretty package to be its best, to represent the sound inside.
